Make a Gift in Will

At the core of every world class community are people who care – people who care about the work they do, the community they live in and the chance to make a difference.  At Grand River Hospital Foundation, we see that passion and dedication in our community and work in partnership with our supporters to make every health care experience exceptional.

Our region is one of the youngest in Canada, with almost 22% of our population under the age of 18. Last year alone, more than 4,300 babies entered the world at Grand River Hospital. A gift in your Will today can mean an extraordinary tomorrow for the people of our community — your children, grandchildren, other families, youth and seniors. Your future gift will be used to support:

  • Essential care equipment such as bassinets, dialysis chairs, cardiac monitors and patient beds
  • Innovative programs as part of cancer care services, mental health care, kidney care, seniors care and Grand River Kids
  • Specialized health research and continuous learning opportunities for health teams on our world class care platforms
  • Patient experience programs like spiritual care, Grand Serve digital services, medical imaging and radiology

Planning a charitable gift to Grand River as part of your legacy will have a lasting impact for those on their health care journey. If you wish to designate your gift to particular areas of care, research or equipment, please give us a call so we can understand your wishes and intentions. As always, please consult your professional advisor for expert advice. We hope you feel confident in knowing how your gift can and will be used by Grand River Hospital and look forward to answering any questions that may arise.
