Day 4 - About Gillian Alton

Oct 4th, 2024 - This photo was taken on May 10, 2016. I will always remember this day. I actually keep a reminder in my calendar on my phone. This was my day 1. I had just finished a very exhausting and painful 4 months of chemotherapy and felt about 100 years old even though I was 31. I decided I was signing myself up for personal training at the newly opened RT Health Company in Elora. I was determined to start feeling myself again. The progress was much slower than I ever imagined, but slowly (and with a lot of help and support) I made it back. Looking back, I never really got back to the 'old me' as I had originally planned, but re-invented a 'new and improved me' and for that I am forever grateful.
