ArtMed's Why
Share
ArtMed is pleased to once again join Guelph Facial Plastics and Dr. Brace in their Beauty for Hope Campaign to raise money for the Waterloo Regional Health Network Cancer Centre. ArtMed has been a supporter year over year, and we’re pleased to support the campaign again in 2025. Owner and Medical Director Dr Mary Peirson also has a personal connection to the cause.
Dr Peirson’s youngest sister Sara Kaune is the Cancer Program and Regional Director of Waterloo Wellington Regional Cancer Program. Sara has been working in cancer care for over 30 years, and she had an incredibly important job. We’re very proud of the work she does and we want to support it. One of her responsibilities is the expansion of the Ontario Breast Screening Program to now include women aged 40 to 49 across the region. Supporting this increase in screening to detect breast cancer earlier in younger women is an incredibly important goal.
ArtMed is proud to be a clinic partner in the Beauty for Hope Campaign. Visit our clinic the week of October 13 to 17 (Thanksgiving week) to help us raise funds for this important cause.”
